Shauna Chapman

Portrait of Shauna Chapman

A self-starter and problem-solver, Shauna has been a vital asset to Yellowfields since its inception. She brings an individual artistic interpretation to projects and provides art direction as required. Shauna takes every opportunity to learn through self-directed study and personal research. She has a particular interest in nature photography and is also interested in placemaking and public space design, with a special interest in sustainable public gardens and communities.

Within her varied and well-travelled background, she has gained experience working in the City of London, worked as a chef aboard superyachts and founded and ran an ethical clothing company before it became ‘fashionable’ to do so—all the while having a hand in Yellowfields. Previously, Shauna studied Art History at Simon Fraser University after being awarded a Canada-wide Fine Art scholarship. She then worked in the graphic design department of a large signing studio for five years before coming to the UK.
