Practice

Jason’s core expertise and experience, spanning nearly four decades, is firmly rooted in cartography, but includes spans graphic design and wayfinding — a transdisciplinary practice he collectively describes as ‘spatial information design’. Moreover, transport and ‘design for movement’ have been prevailing themes.

Aside from advice and consulting, maps — predictably — are the most evident output of Jason’s practice. These take many forms, including topographical, topological, thematic, abstract or artistic.

Jason also provides: advice and consulting; design audits; design development; desktop-based research; project feasibility and analysis; workflow assessment services; and wayfinding consulting and strategy.
